The International Referees Camp
Great basketball needs great officials. The Elite Basketball Tournament Malta International Referees Camp is one of the few dedicated development programmes for referees in the region. It brings together officials from across Europe to develop their craft under experienced international instructors, covering mechanics, decision-making under pressure, rule interpretation, and the physical demands of high-level officiating. We believe referee development is not a footnote to the game, it's central to it. By investing in officials, we invest in the integrity and quality of basketball at every level
The Tournament
At the heart of what we do is our flagship Elite Basketball Tournament Malta, an elite international club competition featuring both men's and women's teams from across Europe and beyond. The High-Performance Basketball Camp
Competition tells you where you are. Development takes you further. Our High-Performance Basketball Camp is designed for young athletes who are serious about their game. Participants train under USA and European coaches with professional-level credentials, in environments built to mirror the demands of elite basketball. The curriculum goes beyond drills, it introduces players to international basketball standards, tactical concepts, and the mental discipline required to compete at the highest levels. For a young player from Malta, the Mediterranean, or anywhere in Europe, this camp is a rare opportunity: to train like a professional, learn from coaches who have worked at that level, and measure themselves against peers who share the same hunger.
